Yes, Karen was fantastic drummer. She'd practice for hours every day with the heaviest sticks she could find to build up her stamina.
Richard was a fucking brilliant pianist as well. They also had Tony Peluso on guitar, who was pretty handy too.
Quality music like this doesn't age.

It is an odd one to me too. It defies basic survival instinct in my opinion.
I'd rather be well fed and happy. To me it's more about quality of life than quantity.
