Serial killer Ian Huntley dead

I tried to open the posted link to the story but a pop-up window opened. Here’s the jist of his cause of death which was the only info I wanted (Wikipedia) -

“Death

Huntley had died in hospital a week after being attacked at HMP Frankland by another inmate with a makeshift weapon. Due to the nature of his injuries, he was put on life support, which was switched off on 6 March. He died the following day.”

Thanks for posting this YouTube vid.

In America, the law is you can only ask “objective” questions when calling previous work sites. You are allowed to verify dates of employment, and the only thing you are allowed to ask that is subjective (opinion) is, “Would you re-hire this person?” By law, the only answer is either “yes” or “no” - you can’t elaborate on anything else as the caller or the person who is answering. But if it’s a “no” - it’s understood this person’s application needs to be passed by and, if you hire them, you do so at your own risk. That’s why you call all previous employment places. If you get all no’s, you know this person is a bad risk! Anyone can lie with personal references. The real story is when calling the numbers to verify work history.
