Well, if it's any consolation, white southern kids can swin like fishes before they're FOUR! Like me and and all of us. Before I finally moved TO Florida, we LIVED for the summer and water!!! Even took two weeks annually to stay ON the lake. Now, I'm ten minutes FROM the beach. And I know where a couple NEVER touched beaches are, they look like something from >200 years ago in Florida.
