If you grew up poor would you do this

The one that says about the spaghetti sauce jar. I grew up with very well off parents and foster parents and we STILL did that. It's completely normal. Dumbass....😂🤣
Also I'm a hoarder of most things. I even have a spare washing machine, hoover and fridgefreezer ffs. Even though i can afford new ones.Just incase mine break down. Hahaha.
Yes!!! I have issues...😂

yes we were poor. for example, once a month my mother or father (depends who did it) would buy a bag of potato chips and a bottle of soda as a weekend treat.
we even had most beverages watered down so it would last longer. i think we were the ones who came up with 1% milk. because thats what it tastes like. watered down milk. even the oj. and soda was watered down by a shit ton of ice in the cup. going to the dump to scavenge discarded lumber and such to build something. even re straightening the nails so they can be re used. grabbing a bunch of broken bicycles to build one.

I got 5 on the list. Petty shit. Using water in the spaghetti jar to clean it , lights off… I wasn’t poor poor. Grateful for that? But in a family of what used to be 6, and only my dad working l, we didn’t get a lot of things we wanted for Christmas or anything. But we always enjoyed what he had.

Now? I wish I could enjoy what I have and I make over 6 figures and my lifestyle is that of a person making $40k a yr. I have nice stuff? But I work A LOT! When I’m off for a month or so. I don’t enjoy it. I feel unproductive. Crazy lol

I want your six figure job

My parents forced me into The News Industry when I was 8 years old, and I became a Migrant Farm Worker in the town that I was born in when I was 13 years old. I was born Catholic and was expected to chip into the family pot.

It was actually magical, my parents allowed myself, as well as my siblings, an incredible amount of freedom. They raised six earners and fun loving, productive assets to society with the limited resources they had, I have no complaints.
