games I'm going to buy a PS5 any game recommendations?

The guard explained they let the prisoners play online video games to keep them busy all day so they don't make trouble in the real world. "Your buddy," explained the guard, "must have recently completed his sentence and been released from prison."

The man hung up. He looked outside his apartment window, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. He closed the curtains, went back online, and played his game alone.

Helldivers 1 for a fun little top down shooter, and the second one for a cool 3rd person shooter. GTA online, of course. Ill come back with more later.

Resident evil village, Alan Wake remake, really depends on what genre you like.

There is the Metal Gear Solid V: The Definition Experience collection you can play on your PS5, but they are PS4 games (backwards compatible). Just announced though is a new one - Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, but obvs you have to wait.

To be honest there’s still some cracking PS4 games you can play - I’m playing Just Cause 3 at the moment.

PS5 games then Watch Dogs: Legion and Resident Evil 3 were good for me. Then there’s Death Stranding (if you enjoywalking around a huge open world) but it’s a mad game, and from Hideo Kojima of MGS fame.

Oh, and not a shooter, but The Forgotten City is a memorable game worth mentioning.

As someone who also bought a PS5, don't waste your money. Save up and buy a decent upper mid range PC instead.

With Steam and GOG sales, as well as pirating sources, the savings do add up.

That aside, Demon Souls, Bloodborne (the framrate boost is amazing), and Nioh 2. Generally stick to PS exclusive games.

I've now got the Ps5 and i see NO difference to the Ps4 i have. Still not found a decent decent game eithet tbh. Only had it a few months though..

Turns out I had PS2 not 3 so I'm positively ancient! I'm literally starting again. What's Plus and Extra people are talking about? My daughter is trying to convince me to get Xbox, does that even exist still? Was never a fan of it tbh

Yep, I write short stories for fun. I also sometimes make up new religions. Who knows, maybe one will be convincing enough to spark a movement. Nearly all religions of the world were started this way. All that is needed is many wayward gullible people to take a story teller's words too seriously and then - new religion. Scientology is the most recent example, litterally created by a science fiction writer, and he wasn't even that good.
