A case of hit and run has come to light in village Diyabar of Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh. A 3 year old girl was crushed by a speeding Bolero. The girl died during treatment in the hospital. The matter is of Bhoramdev police station area.
According to the information received, Siya Thakur, 3 year old daughter of Deepak Thakur, resident of Kawardha Ward No. 8, had gone to visit Bhoramdev temple with her maternal grandparents on the day of Mahashivratri. After this, all three were returning home between 3-4 pm on Friday afternoon. Near Diyabar village, Nana stopped the bike on the roadside to buy something. His grandmother went to buy some things from the shop across the road. The girl was standing with her maternal grandfather. Then suddenly he ran towards his grandmother. During this, a high speed Bolero coming from the front crushed the girl.
The Bolero driver fled from the spot with the vehicle. The girl was immediately brought to the district hospital, but she died during treatment. After receiving the information, Bhoramdev police station reached the hospital and sent the body for postmortem. Police have registered a case against the Bolero driver and started searching for him.
