Warning: Children Two young kids playing in the rain get sent to the hospital after being ran over by vehicle

Warning
A car struck two children who were squatting in Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. As a result, the two children sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The incident, involving a Toyota Kijang Innova hitting two children, went viral on social media. In the video, a black car is seen turning left into a car parking area on Jalan Cipinang Jaya.
In the parking area, four children can be seen squatting and playing. The car continued to move forward, striking two of the girls and causing injuries.
The Head of the Gakkum Sub-directorate of the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate, AKBP Ojo Ruslani, stated that the incident occurred on Thursday (November 13) at 3:00 PM. A 10-year-old girl, identified by the initials CDP, suffered injuries to her right temple, left cheek, and abrasions on her waist.
Meanwhile, a 2-year-old, ARS, sustained injuries to her left leg, bruises on her right leg, and facial abrasions. Both received treatment at Persahabatan Hospital in East Jakarta.
"Based on the information obtained, the Toyota Kijang Innova with license plate B-2062-PW, driven by Putra Ardiansyah, struck the children who were squatting as he turned left into a car storage parking area on Jalan Cipinang Jaya," said Ojo Ruslani to reporters on Sunday (November 16, 2025).
Police have secured several pieces of evidence from the incident, including the Kijang Innova vehicle and the driver's license (SIM) and vehicle registration (STNK).
"The driver did not see the children when he was turning. The children have been discharged from the hospital, and the matter has been settled through deliberation," he added.
