Information You Deem Vital

Important enough that you might even write it down afterwards, in case you are unable to do a quick look on a search engine.

I have already viewed many books online that claim they teach what matters in a grid-down scenario and alladat, but I find the fact those are written through the perspectives of others I never will meet to be a bit of a deal breaker.

What knowledge do YOU think would be the most important? Would you be able to teach it, and help others learn to replicate that process?

It does not need to be all gloom and doom, if you think others could benefit from it, I welcome you to share.

STAY ON TOPIC. SINGLE WARNING.

Medical skills would be vital, In so many apocalyptic films you see them coping, with their ability to build shelter, find and purify water, hunt for food, grow food. Im sure most people could also navigate via the stars to some degree (That might be worth reading up on tbh) but in so many movies they often die because they couldn't get to the nearest surviving medic in time, or they've eaten bad shrooms. It might help if you had a radio and Flatus tubes radio frequency, or whatever it is you need to call someone on a battery powered walkie talkie.

Stay mobile. Unless you can hold your potential robbers or invaders back effectively, everything you stockpiled is a loot crate. Stay on the move and travel light. Never linger in large structures or abandoned towns & cities. You use 4x more ammo in an urban environment than a forest. Trade with few people, trust fewer. If you're not fit, you're gonna die when shit hits the fan. You can remove the plastic inner paneling on car doors and put extra body armor in them to up-armor your vehicle against most small arms. Almost NOTHING stops a .50 but steel. Most of all, know when to just run away and survive, rather than stay and die in a 1vX situation. Your best defense is your getaway ability. I suggest a 5th Gen Toyota Hilux and maybe do some quick modifications to mount a machine gun in the bed or use that space to store a camp that you can quickly put up and take down.

I feel like at the end of the day it falls mostly on your ability to adapt and a bit of luck. If I had any specifics I’d say knowing how to protect yourself and secure food are top priorities. People should know how to fish hunt or trap. hopefully all three because I find certain times of the year where I live it’s more reliable to use one method over the other. I left out gardening because you already have that one down idk about the others 🤷‍♂️

You need jars. Lots of jars to catch ur piss and use later for brushing, washing, and light cleaning. Jars of piss can be used as a weapon against those who would take your piss, as well as keeping moles and raccoons away from ur tomatoes. Steeped piss, when combined with grass, makes a tea rich in sodium and waste cells that fuels the body and aids alertness because it smells so fucking bad.
Also rope, water, a knife, and a big tarp.
