inhaled analgesics - a question for the Brits

I wanted to post something similar first but Bill said 'in labour' which means a woman gets a child (I believe). Don't know if it's a good idea to give H in this situation to someone who's not used to it. She will maybe barf across the room  nod off or worse shit.
But in general, you're right.
Only the 'sleep aid' doesn't work well for me, I have to use the much weaker morphine to get a good sleep at night. H would make me awake again.
Bill is constipated and just using the old "it's for my friend" bit. He has mentioned that kind of trouble in the past.

I'm very rarely bound up, my gut's default reaction is to purge with violent liquid dumps not retain.

The real reason for me asking is I came across Secret Life of the Hospital Bed on amazon prime and they featured numerous woman giving birth and they were provided an inhaler.

I found it interesting to see the different protocols compared to North American hospital care. In all was rather impressed.

who likes the gold, silver and the blue? whose who?

Those asthma type inhalers? Interesting.

Taking 10-15 full breaths, forced all the way in and out quickly, and on the last breath hold it in and push the blood to your head by tensing your body causes a decent NOS buzz. Best done sat down safely lol.
I'm sure anyone (paramedics, doctors, nurses, RT's, etc.) have enjoyed high flow O2 to get a buzz on or a little pep. Even with my last hospital stay I'd always make sure I had a nasal cannula hooked up and would on occasion hook myself up for a few hits of O2 to refresh my brain.

I have a large capacity oxygen tank at home thanks to fucking horrible cluster headaches (which I’ve not had since being sober for the past 20 months and learning how to meditate). It’s also good fun puffing the high flow with a non-rebreath mask and seeing how long you can hold your breath. Or doing experiments like putting a glowing ember into a test tube full of oxygen and watching it pop into flames.
