Her name in your story is Catherine Bell. Sometimes it’s Laura Hayes. Other times it’s Laura Monroe - and probably others.

In your story, the year was 1980. In others, it’s 1977 and she was found 13 years later.

None of it can be traced back to - and confirmed by - a credible news source. It’s fodder for a good story created to get lots of clicks.

It's not known whether she went off the road accidentally or on purpose, but she went several hundred feet down the mountain and her car was buried in snow. She was missing for a couple of years before her car and body were found in the trees below. I tried to look up her story again, but I can't remember her name unfortunately.

It's unfortunate when someone disappears and their body is only found years later, and it's a complete car wreck.(although some disappear and are never found) In the US, they spend a lot not only on the military but also on the police, but the snow could have buried all traces and the car itself so quickly that they couldn't find it.
