And like chickens they're smart and learn quickly.
Crocs can lie hidden under water soaking up info like a nuclear sub. They feel vibrations both on land in in water, can raise their eyes/periscope up to just break surface and their raised nostrils to breath with and you'd never know they were there. They only need one breath per hour and can slow their metabolism right down and then explode into action when everything is perfect.
