I used to luv everything about that show but his character especially. He will be sorely missed.

He was my favorite character!! I used to love his laugh "gyit gyit gyit!!" And James Best was in a ton of other things as well; but whenever I'd see him in something, I'd always say "Oh Look! It's RoscooooOOOOe P Coltrane!!"

I met him briefly last year at the Portland Strawberry festival. They were charging $25 for a photo with him. Kinda sad he was so old.

Dukes of Hazzard was such a goofy show it's easy to forget how talented some of the actors were. Like Sorrel Brooks: the guy was a graduate of Yale and Columbia, spoke five languages fluently and worked in counterintelligence. And yet, he will always be remembered as "Boss Hogg".
