We're psychologically predisposed to perceive faces and patterns in the world; it's an evolutionary survival adaptation. The fusiform gyrus (aka the lateral occipitotemporal gyrus) of the brain is specifically attuned to facial perception, though it is also utilized in the decipherment of various like forms (e.g., being able to perceive fine differences between similar objects). I recommend the study of psychology to anyone interested in learning the underpinnings of our behaviors, including those of our perceptual behaviors like perceiving faces were they do not verily exist (i.e. pareidolia). So many of the things we perceive as strange, supernatural, coincidental, etc, are all easily explained away by the quirks and limitations of our sensory, perceptual, and cognitive capabilities. (Btw, I saw Kenny Rogers in that video.)

Look up Gestalt Principles if you're interested in our tendencies to perceive visual patterns where they may or may not exist. Similar to our tendencies to perceive faces where they may or may not exist.

PS: I forgot to note that distinctions exist between sensation, perception, and interpretation.
In the video for example, our sensation would simply to refer to our eyes taking in light and transmitting information to our visual cortex. Perception would refer to interpreting the visual data as a face. And interpretation would be the inference of the face as Jesus or Kenny Rogers, or Willem Defoe playing Jesus, or whoever.

Indeed well we evolved to do that. Facial recognition is extremely important for communication and identification. I think the other apes are similar if I remember correctly.
