The BBC has produced a drama titled "The Reckoning," depicting the life of Jimmy Savile. Played by Steve Coogan. While he may not be widely known outside of the UK, in essence, he deceived the entire nation into believing he was a cheerful, benevolent individual who raised millions for charity. He cultivated relationships with individuals of high status, including members of the royal family.
However, the truth was he fucked kids, The youngest being 2 years old, he fucked old people he fucked paralyzed people, people with cancer, and psychiatric patients, he fucked corpses, and disturbingly even used a glass eye from a corpse into a ring.
At Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital he was given an office, a bedroom and his own set of keys to the wards. 11 people reported being abused by Savile there.
He was linked to abuse that occurred at Haut de la Garenne children’s home in Jersey.
46 sexual assaults occurred at Duncroft, a girls school in Surrey for emotionally disturbed teenagers - five while it was under the care of the children’s charity Barnardo’s. While some happened off-site, like in Savile’s car, much of the other abuse continued on the school’s grounds, including in communal areas and the principal’s office.
He had a massively creepy relationship with his mother. They lived together until she died. As the youngest of seven children, he spoke about how he never had her to himself. Until that is, she died. There was a documentary made with him and Louis Theroux many years ago and you can clearly see how weirded out Theroux is, sadly theres only little bits of it online.
It will be shown on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm on October 9
There has been so much discussion from offended snowflakes on social media about this drama, saying things like 'Sickening. The BBC profiting from this monsters debauchery. Steve Coogan should be ashamed.' or another ' I wont be watching anything to do with that nasty piece of work makes me feel sick and why the BBC has done this is very annoying indeed' Theres thousands of comments like this. But I will absolutely be watching it.
Just curious if any of you lot will be watching, its car crash morbid curiosity for me and Steve Coogan is amazingly accurate in his portrayal
all I can find from Theroux is this
