And I'll never forget a kid about 7 or 8 who got run over by a bus in front of me and other kids about 50yrs ago. Fucking horrible, still remember it like it was yesterday, adults all crying and screaming. It never leaves you. The worst part was the "bang" sound and the fucking mess on the road. It's one of the strongest childhood memories I've got unfortunately, that and "dad" bashing poor mom.
