Watching Season 1 of First 48. Researched a case pertaining to Liz Michie to see what the end result was. Stumbled upon new articles about this Detective that was convicted of killing prostitutes and drug users. Looks like he was involved in her death. He’s being released on house arrest.

P.S. edit: I didn't have the sound on until about 30 seconds in & they said KCK Restaurant so I wasn't 100% sure it wasn't some restaurant I never heard of. I only heard Topeka mentioned.

Topeka is the state capital. Since it's a federal case it's tried there. I live in KCMO (Missouri). KC sits on the state line of KS/MO. There's two seperate cities seperated by the river. KCK is is run down, predominately black/white trash/old Croations and immigrant Mexicans. The police station sits right in the middle of it all. Drug deals, homeless, gangs and prostitutes all around the station. I'm not surprised that fat piece of shit used that to his advantage. Gross.
