Kedaton Police Chief, Commissioner Budi Harto, confirmed the incident. He explained that the victim slipped while playing in the rainwater near his residence.
According to police information, at the time of the incident the victim's parents were not near the location, so the victim was not monitored.
As a result, the victim fell into the ditch and could not be saved.
The victim's body has been handed over to the family for burial.
The police expressed their deepest condolences for the incident.

There was a video a couple of years back where a kid drowned and an adult hung them upside down over their back by the legs and ran around. Just as I was thinking “that’s retarded” the kid was resuscitated and woke up. The kid wasn’t breathing when the video started 😂.
