I watched Ill Manors last night, it wasn't as cool as I had hoped.
But it was an okey movie!

LOL I'm sort of curious about it. I was considering waiting until it went into the "cheap rejects theatre" but if it's that bad, I may rent it and MST3K through it.

As wino said, the cgi is good, but the story sucks.

^^^ still a powerful movie 3rd time 'round watching it last time was about 10 years ago. amazing how scott commanded the screen even in a quieter for a lack of a better word role/character. makes me wanna watch him in the changeling now hmm could be another day of getting nothing really done lol

a bit of a change up went with dario argento today... just watched hmm good movie but not as good as the first time i watched it but i have been become more critical of movies in general in the last few years so maybe thats why...

later going back to one of my favourites of his... crushing on jennifer connelly after all these years

Suspiria is one of my all time favorites of Argento. The Cat o' Nine Tales is another. Phenomena is good too. Haven't seen Mother of Tears since it came out.

yeah Suspiria is a great movie i try to watch once a year might have skip a year or two lol. Cat O' Nine Tails definitely need to see again i honestly think i have only seen that once maybe twice when i was a wee lad oh so many years ago. I think besides my crush Connelly who puts in very good performance especially so early in her career the fucking music by Goblin in Phenomena elevates everything. The kills are all good in Mother of Tears looks feels like Argento which is a good thing but somehow this time around I was expecting or just wanted more not sure what though

and if you can find Son of a Gun grab it. Great Aussie film with a Brit lead.
