Underworld: The Awakening.
Not as good as the previous 3 Underworld flics and this one lacked a followable story line. It failed to tie into the flics that preceeded it and the character line was very weak.
But I think that Kate is hot, so, what the hell.

J. Edgar Hoover 5/10
Over all it was a good movie acting/directing but the story is pretty weird and incredible. In the movie they basically asserted that Hoover was gay also, he blackmailed Bobby Kennedy into thinking John Kennedy got caught was having gay sex with a commie in the basement of a building that Hoover was raiding... It's a "wtf?" movie...

Contagion isn't a bad watch. Recently watched Paranormal Activity 3 and that was good. Hated the first one, and never saw the second. A friend gave me his DVD copy of this one, and I liked it a lot.

I was also forced to watch the "hunger games" with the girlfriend, i wanted to cut myself. i knew nothing of it going in, but when i hear 'fight to the death' in the title i think "bloodsport" type film. oh well

I heard a lot of great things and saw good reviews on Hunger Games so I downloaded a copy and watched it. Really lame. The supposed "death" scenes were blurry and shaky so that you couldn't even tell what the heck was going on, the special effects were quite cheap, and the acting was half-assed. SO glad I did not waste any money on that.
yeah really, and for it to turn into a "love scene" i should've known given that it was a teen film, and to add insult to injury had to watch "mirror mirror" afterwards..whatever you do..stay away from that one. reminded me of that twilight bullshit /puke

I did watch a CAM version, but I don't see your point. Watching a higher quality version won't make the acting or special effects any better. A crap movie is a crap movie.
