movies Last Movie You Watched..

I recently watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space for probably the 100th time. But, I read they are remaking this movie. Don't know how I feel about that yet, but if it's done right then I'll be happy.

Jaat 2025. India.
3/10.
A nameless traveler beats up local gang members in a attempt to get one of them to say sorry.
Interesting film that has a hyper style of action and violence. The plot is simple at the start, but just gets more characters added with what seems like no attempt to link them into a kinda rambling story.
At its core, it shows the wide range of living conditions and attitudes that exist in India, but heaps on a over-the-top-super-hero level lead character and fat or muscle bound bad guys.

Aratus. (Awakening) Estonia. 1989.
7/10
Set in Soviet controlled Estonia, its a dry drama about the forced deportation of some the population, simply because there names are on a 'list'. The film really doesn't follow any set number of characters or a plot. Soldiers with some officials turn up at certain places, and people are taken away. There is a shoot out at the end, but its not a action scene. It has a dreary feel as conversations are had, but a resigned sense of reality of the time.
No trailer.

Ballerina

Movie was typical "John Wick world" this time the female was the assassin..
The body count was twice that of John Wick and some deaths took too long..

A hitman that carries on for a couple minutes after being stabbed 6 times in the neck..
Felt like i was in a zombie movie for a minute..

The longer it went on, it became about what she will use next...
Grenades, flame thrower, fire hose....

Good night and good luck. 2005.
5/10
Based on the reporter Edward Murrow and the network CBS, who at the time reported on baseless allegations, put out by senator McCarthy. It uses footage of the time and re-enactments of the reporters broadcasts. Interesting drama that shows some of the inner workings of the network. Fails to really capture the attention in any meaningful way, but does highlight the essential need for strong reporting, in the face of delusional claims.

Truck Turner. 1974.
6/10
Bounty hunter kills a wanted pimp, gets a contract put on him by the woman who was helping run the whores.
Typical 'blaxploitation' film that has a load of swearing, dubious fight and action scenes, but a solid gritty plot.
Good acting with a wide range of actors, a steady 90 minute plot, make for a interesting slice of cinema history.

Mobland - from Guy Ritchie
Another filthy trash series that could be about anything other than how beautifully the State and Society-decisive mafia still works today, soaked in some pink fairy tale foam
I hope many young people will believe this nonsense and will be enthusiastic about murderers or drug dealers and pimps who take lives or permanently ruin them and many young people will follow their example so that there are as many violent organized criminals on the streets as possible
Guy Ritchie should really be hanged for the fact that for 26 years he has only been able to make such movies from the British side, just like Al Pacino from the American side or Robert De Niro, although they are already presenting a dream world that has long ceased to exist, only existed in the US until about the 90s
The problem is more with blacks and Latinos now, although the fact is that white trash from Hollywood is also very significant who supports this fucking shit globally

Dirty money. 2024. South Korea.
6/10
Two cops with different money problems steal a load of cash from a chinese gang.
Brisk 90 minute crime thriller that is tense and interesting throughout. Large number of characters, but some only have minor parts. Plot wise its standard, one serious cop, one slightly funny, some levels to it as they have to get involved in the investigation. Near the end its has a nice twist but overall, it would be a film for people who haven't seen some the denser crime films from earlier years.
