Carpenter is the man. This is one of the few SCARY, SMART horror movies out there. I'd strongly advise that if you like this man's work to check this psychological thriller set in HP LOVECRAFTIAN mythology. Sam Neill is brilliant. The woman is a terrible actor but meh. Charlton Heston (GUNS GUNS GUNS! PRY THEM FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS) Yea that guy is in it as well.

The imagery and sound is fucking trippy!
