Requiem for a dream. It popped in my head yesterday, so i watched it. Probably been ten years since I've seen it. I was clearly not mature enough to see what was in front of me, but now i am.
Its up with strangelove as my personal favorite of all time. I dont know that someone who hasn't struggled with addiction or psychosis could ever understand it...which is odd. Aronofsky says he's never used a single drug in his life.
I take that back....this movie is about neither one of those. Aronofsky himself said its about the death of the American dream. Fair enough, he made the goddamn movie....but to me, its about absolute obsession.
I wish i could watch it again like it was the first time. Now THATS irony.
Never read the book, its number one on my to do list. Anybody have an ebook they could share?

Being John Malkovich .. LOL.. what a strange fucking movie that was. I loved it. Takes 20-30 minutes to really "start", but worth it.

highly recommed! fuck this movie was pretty tense and scary, finally been waiting for a decent horror movie this will scare the shit out of you at times.

Big Fish, I don't like the "feel good" type of movies much, but this one was pretty good. In style, it sort of reminded me of Forrest Gump, things like that.
A documentary called The House I Live In.
"Cube" trilogy. It's an awesome set of movies, check them out.
