Legend of Zelda: Tears of the kingdom

is anyone hype for totk? I wasn’t holding my breath at first until my friend told me about the leak. and I saw probably Six minutes of that leak and my god. it looks amazing, they completely renovated this game without making it over bearing (at least for what I can tell) If you don’t want leaks, stop reading here please

I noticed a lot of new changes, one being how bows and arrows are improved to be actually useful. I saw a shot where someone put meat on the bow and arrow to lure a enemy away. there was a few other clips that I can’t recall but you can do quite a lot with bows and arrows now and i am excited to see how it changes the gameplay!

I also noticed that you are fighting along side the ghosts from breath of the wild. which I theorize as time travel, I also theorize this because the master sword is partially broken in one scene with link. then Zelda is holding it completely fine in another scene, then it’s completely destroyed in another scene with link. and link has no runes yet Zelda has an improved shieka slate. this and minor details make me speculate that maybe link was sent back in time after calamity or something. I think time travel is going to be a plot point on this game, don’t ask me how though haha

also! I saw on a trailer link was just throwing shit together, and there was a motor on a plane with a battery. so I assume thats a new feature and obviously there's new technology so I also theorize there maybe a time split. but don’t hold your breath on that, Legend of Zelda is the kinda game to kinda just throw all that in there at the same time

The last Zelda game I played was Wind Waker, I got to the end where you were supposed to fight Gannon but I couldn’t find all the triforce shards so I was unable to proceed. I gave up 🤷‍♂️

So.... I bought it for my kid thinking they'd get into it fully knowing if they didn't I would be right there to play the shit out of it. But didn't realize how much better it was going to be than Breathe of the Wild. I bought that on the Wii U and played the shit out of it when it first released. I was amazed how immersive that experience was. I eventually lost interest in it and just stopped playing altogether. That's when my son picked up my save file and went to town mirkin his way through Hyrule. My daughter loved to hang and ride the ponies for fun. So naturally I wanted to get Tears of the Kingdom. I'm only 10 or 12 hours in but it's such a beautiful game so far and has really surprised me how innovative you can be just as a noob player. It's quite the experience and I'm playing through it with my kids and it's a great family fun game. Thanks for the post Big T's. I wanted to start a thread on it because it's such a step ahead for video games a whole and knew other like minded homies on my gore site would be talking about it. Youre awesome

It's creeping up there the more I play it. It's already trumped breath of the wild. Though to be fair I've only ever beaten Ocarina of time. Lol but that game changed my life

I, unfortunately, updated to 1.1.2, but there's another dupe glitch, AND there's a way to troll the Lynels so I'm not updating unless I have no choice. 355+ hours later, and I'm still having fun. More so than BotW.

100 times better than Breath of the Wild. That game was so disappointing. Supposedly Breath of the Wild has a bigger map than Skyrim but it’s just a BIG OPEN NOTHING. And those stupid shrines, so repetitive.

Rumour has it that the next big 3D Zelda game is the one Miyamoto always wanted to do but couldn’t because of hardware limitations but now with the Switch 2, he can. He reckons that when it comes out it will blow everyone’s mind. Whoa!!
