For one he parks away from the bank but probably his vehicle and plate are on camera.
He approaches gun out so everyone can see his intentions
They just hand him a small amount of cash, he probably only got maybe a few thousand
There were too many people in the lobby all could potentially ID him.
He drops his phone which tracks him to the crime scene.
It is not so much what crime you commit it is how you avoid getting caught after.
