Whenever I read or hear that term or its variations, I always imagine it to mean making the place such that no baby could survive there you know, as with the terms fireproof, windproof, waterproof or weatherproof. So used in a sentence we get, "All buildings, structures, schools, dwellings and workplaces should be babyproof." It's the Carlinist in me.

Well, one has to at least attempt to use even a little common sense. WTF not even some chicken wire closing off the guard railing opening on the bottom.
