Slide whistle: the soundtrack to idiocy since 1850
I think them being that little actually helped avoid a head injury.
I recorded a NEW one in 1993, at work. We had a crew come in that HAD a "slide whistle", and that thing was ANCIENT, so we recorded with the big Sennheiser mic, a Greg Mackie console and a TASCAM 1/2", eight track reel to reel, mastering with the JBL 4412's, and I digitized it with an SBPro 16 audio card, one of the earliest times I did that NON-commercially nor governmentally.
