The fact that it is stolen makes no difference to him, and neither does the fact that this video will be used as evidence against him. It's like the old Papau New Guiinea cargo cult stuff of ww2 where indentured labour came home from working in allied ware houses and told stories of all the 'cargo' they'd seen and tried to figure out ways of getting their share. So they built aircraft out of sticks and put them on high ground hoping the allied aircraft would drop the 'cargo' on them...
