I can explain this. They came out, saw their own shadows, and ran back in. At this point, the people can expect 6 more weeks of winter.
I was expecting carcasses on a rack to be rolled out - the outside looks like a cold room in an abattoir.

A video recorded by internal cameras at the Piraquara Custody Center in the Curitiba Metropolitan Region shows a prison guard being held hostage by three inmates in Paraná. The incident occurred last week, and the man was released after being held in the cell for nearly 24 hours.
According to Depen (Paraná Penitentiary Department), the man was at the mercy of the inmates from 2 pm on Monday (4) until 1:45 pm on Tuesday (5).
The video shows that the inmates took the officer hostage during the cell inspection. Another officer on site fired at the inmates but was unable to prevent the attack....

Not a lethal weapon. Probably fires pepper rounds or rubber bullets. Lethal weapons are banned inside prisons all over the world for obviously reasons. People watch too many movies and think that real life is the same
