"Lost Gore"

This is a topic that fascinates me although people have discussed it on here before. I am referring to "lost gore" or "NSFL lost media", which is basically just footage, audio or pictures of death and injury that either (a) has been deliberately destroyed, (b) is in the possession of law enforcement and inaccessible to the general public, or (c) may exist somewhere but nobody knows where.

In a few rare cases, actual shock and gore and death videos were available online at some point but have become lost or hard to find over time. I guess an example of this would be the full unedited version of the infamous Chechlear Massacre in Russia. Pretty sure there are very short clips of this right here on GG but they are indeed very short and with degraded quality. A much longer version of the video was allegedly all over the Internet in the early '00s but I was still a kid at the time.

Of course, there is also footage of wrestler Owen Hart falling to his death from the rafters during the 1999 Over The Edge match. Anchorwoman's Christine Chubbuck suicide on live television. And, who can forget Grizzly Man? None of those infamous death videos can be found on the Internet, so they count as "lost", at least to the general public. Which may be for the better but I'm a morbid weirdo so they have my attention. Anyone know of any death or gore clips that are basically considered lost at this time?

Nothing specific, but I used to see some cannibalism videos and they seem hard to find, now. I'll tell you what I WISH I had.

  1. Toni Jo Henry was executed by electric chair in 1944. Thousands attended her funeral. I find it hard to believe that no one took a single photo, but I can't find one.
  2. In the 50s or 60s the Philippines televised the electric chair execution of two criminals. There must be video, but I can't find anything.

I don't believe the footage of Owen Harts tragic fall has ever been released. I hope it never will for that matter. Watched that PPV live, shit was truly a sad accident.

I would be interested in seeing
  • Jamal Khashoggi’s death video
  • Columbine footage/Basement Tapes
  • Armin Miewes dismemberment video
  • Heartbeat in the Brain
  • The video of the guy who fell into the hot springs at Yellowstone
  • Issei Sagawa footage
  • Other serial killer home movies
Oooh these are all great ones 👍 What’s heartbeat in the brain?

That shit will never be released, which I support. It's locked in a vault in Stamford. The video where Droz got paralyzed is also there. I remember a short ass clip floating around on Kazaa but I could never bring my self to watch it.

It’s a documentary from the 70’s where a chick uses a scalpel and some sort of dental drill on her own skull in a trepanation surgery. I’ve seen a couple short clips, it was kinda gnarly.
WTF… people are crazy. I’ll look for it tomorrow 😀 Thanks for the clarification!

there is also another footage showing the ground of the plaza of WTC at the 9/11 deadly events, showing people hitting the ground, the video is a lil bit short, 0:15 probably, and it was named "LOL SUPERMAN" published in 2006, in OGRISH.COM or ROTTEN.COM, and yea, its also lost in media and time, probably the worst 9/11 video.

Unfortunately you'll only find clips of it. It's supposedly been partially found so who knows, maybe next year the full thing will be out.
