disaster Luckily Doggo Was Wearing A Harness

The same thing they 'think' when they see a child that has just been run over, and they drive past and pretend like they didn't see it.

Yeah, they didn't bother to step in & help even 😠 but having lived in a high rise before for a couple of years, I found out lots of people who also lived in my same building never mastered the controls. There was maybe 400 people living in my building easily. These were everyday elevator riders too. I assume it was just because they're stupid but, it's not like once you move in there's a class on even how to work them via the buttons on the control panel even. 🤦‍♀️ There's also no instructions except on the CALL FIRE DEPARTMENT glass boxes but, that was for 🔥 only.
Me, I was just lucky a fireman taught me everything about elevators. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyhoo, maybe that person was scared because they thought ghostly possession dog was floating versus caught by his leash, or it still hasn't caught on in China about being a good samaritan due to the thousands of years of Taoist's & Buddhist practices & superstition where if you help another, you then are also responsible for that person (or property in this case) but, also pèngcí (scammers) who try to blame someone who helps out, to benefit financially.

China only put into effect their Good Samaritan laws in October of 2017. It protects those from being sued if they render aid & help another in need. It may take generations to change an entire culture's mindset.

BTW, PSA: if you're reading this, whoever you are, please use harnesses on your pets & never a collar (for more than holding their ID tag on, if even then, or use a breakaway collar). Too many pets accidentally die annually, >25,000, from deaths that could've been prevented. 🥺
