Once I saw photos of a guy who made such a journey successfully. He had a thick layer of lubrication grease on his overall body and was wrapped in two blankets.
The hideout was the wheel well of the plane. The flight was from northern Africa to Germany and lasted about 4 hrs, after the landing the ground crew found the unconscious man.
