Makes you wonder how the rich are going to maintain portfolio growth if their key democratic of consumers is shrinking... imigrant importation from Africa and middle east... as is already happening. You all have to remember, to the rich 1% who control this world all that matters to them is the growth of the price of the stocks they own, that's it.

For example, you probably noticed your candy bars and ice creams get smaller every year this is because to make up for the fact they don't get more customers they still need growth. It doesn't matter if they make 1 billion, the next year they want at least 1.1 billion so they simply shave 10% off the ice cream or candy bar and presto they just saved 10% but charged you the same as before - growing their profit by that 0.1 billion dollars.

But it gets worse - while they sometimes shave off 10% of the product they often jack up the price 10% too, now they made another 0.1 billion and you hardly notice because of how subtle it is. It takes years. But the grow in profit is consistent to them.

The way out? Stop buying from them, become self sufficient. but then of course they'll just flood your nation with ignorant retards from 3rd world nations, pay them with free money they lobbied the governments to take from YOU and then the immigrants will buy the products with your money. You lose.

The population can EASILY crash, across the whole planet in fact, and this is a completely apolitical issue.

The ONLY reason the world population grows at all is because the food supply is constant. And the only reason the food supply is constant is because of modern Ammonia based fertilizers. Around 1908 the world ran out of natural fertilizers (in the form of guano harvested from pacific islands through the Guano Islands Act of 1856), this fertilizer increased crop yields throughout the EARTH and was responcible for the dramatic population growth of the mid-late 19th century.

When the guano, which was a finite resource, was nearly all used up by the first decade of the 20th century a german scientist named Fritz Haber invented the process of using FOSSIL FUELS to turn atmospheric nitrogen into AMONIA which could then be solodified into a nitrate and used as the world's new fertilizer.

To this day 5% of all the natural gas on Earth is used in to make this same AMMONIUM NITRATE based fertilizer. If for whatever reason a nation, continent, or the world lost access to fossil fuels the prcocess they use to make petroleum based fertilizers will stop.

It is estimated that Ammonia based fertilizers account for 75% of all food produced on Earth. That means without it crop yields will crash by 3/4 and that would equate to 3/4 of all humans on Earth starving to death.

Don't think it can happen? It can and has in isolated examples through the world already. In 2021 the government of Sri Lanka banned artificial fertilizer. Within just that one growing season an entire harvest failed. The normally self sufficient nation was forced to import food at ultra-high prices, rather than starve the poorest people stormed the capital and the government collapsed. That all happened in a single growing season. Imagine what would happen on a global scale over a period of two or three years. Remember the Holodomor Famine, that was just one year and it killed off a huge portion of the population of Ukraine in just one year. And guess what, natural gas is a finite resource. Constant Human population growth is therfore NOT sustainable for the long term and the population will crash, maybe not now or even 100 years, but it will.

Unless the laws of supply and demand are usurped, hijacked, or eliminated by the forced implementation of command economy principles which would delay or deny producers from CREATING the supply in the first place because some faceless bureaucrat deemed it neccessary to wipe out one particular group, or another, or everyone on a whim as we saw in 1932-33 Ukraine, as we was in Sri Lanka, as we have seen the European Union flirting with the idea in Denmark, Germany, and others. What do you think all those farmer protests in the EU were about. Sure humanity will survive regardless but demographics will change, can change, have changed, and are changing based almost solely on the the issue of a finite resource called petroleum and its use in the agricultural industry.
