They were never just about showing your cars off, all car modding comes from criminals, literally all of it, if we didnt have bootleggers doing the original takeovers your honda would be stuck factory forever

Edit: i should state im not encouraging it or anything, its just sadly how it is, all "car culture" relating modification has always been seeded in criminality, just due to its start, and due to how regulated these parts are (or even "illegal" as in a hefty fine or the government taking your car for simply having it) in many states, it attracts people who are already ignoring the law lmao.
