Number one beer for me is a ice cold Michelob ultra with a Lime, Cocktail has to be a classic whiskey and coke on the rocks !

I have not had Michelob since the Americans left the submarine base on the Clyde, a real nice beer and we bought cases from them very cheap. Mine is Guinnesss and or Vodka and anything, I do like a Scotch but had to stop drinking it as it was like giving firewater to the Indians.

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey for a mellow whiskey that I'll drink straight, but that is rare. With dinner I often have a Redd's Apple Ale, which I've noticed pairs well with many of my dinner choices.

i agree Guinness tastes very different outside of the eu, Plus people cant pour it here in the U.S. I live in Washington D.C so we have good irish owned bars, But the service is shit

It really depends the situation. I don’t drink at home, so here are the scenarios and what I drink:

Sporting events - miller lite/michelob ultra
Business meeting - scotch and soda in highball
Date dinner - paper airplane or corpse reviver #2, or wine dependent on food pairing
