My experience with Covid-19

I tested positive for Coronavirus on Tuesday, October 6th. Let me just give you all some first hand insight to this.

Immediately I got a call from the Department of Health Services..asking me questions about my symptoms,where I'd been and who I've been in contact with. THIS IS WHERE ALL THE DATA COMES FROM..NOT THE MEDIA ,BUT FROM THOSE THAT TESTED POSITIVE. They then stated that I could not see my brother,friends,Neighboors,etc..only a pre-approved medical worker..I can not leave my house or be RELEASED by them until I test negative. I was advised that their agency would call me every day for a update on my symptoms. And that I could be sick up to 14 days.
What started out with me was a sore throat,headache, vomiting and fever, but then turned into a nightmare.
Every joint and muscle in my body is so painful that I can't move ..my eyes burn,my head is ready to explode,my lungs hurt everytime I breathe..my oxygen level is LOW ,I can't stay awake ,but trying to sleep isn't easy either. I lost the sense of smell and taste..and forget about eating anything of substance. I do drink a lot of liquids tho,but NO STARBUCKS.
I feel like I've been battered from inside my body. I won't go into all of the mental part of this..but it is depressing and frustrating.
I have a nurse's aide that comes to my house 3x days a week. She tells me straight what to expect and tries to ease the pain. Even after when I test negative I'll still have some issues and go through other testing to make sure my liver and kidneys aren't damaged.
What is unnerving is yes, I do have a pre existing condition.. but let me be clear.. my cancer DID NOT CAUSE me to contact Covid. I tried to social distancing, wore a mask and stayed home. IMO and it's very clear .. I got COVID-19 AFTER things eased with the quarantine mandates up here in my state.

This isn't like having a bad cold or even the flu..and for that matter,I'd rather have more radiation,chemo and be fucked with a brillo brush than this. I wish that all this was an exaggeration,but this Covid-19 shit is real. It's not a hoax, not a strategy political move..but a real VIRUS. IF any one of you still have delusional opinions..come talk to me AFTER you've tested positive or have a loved die from this.. until then fuck off...
To everyone else.. be safe,be smart and protect yourself as much as possible.. because unfortunately from what I've been told..until a vaccine is available more ppl will get sick,some will die and some will recover..

the symptoms you experienced could be your body trying to get rid of the chemo toxins or it could be that the chemo has wrecked your immune system. I know loads of healthy ppl who’ve had ‘covid’ and only experienced mild symptoms. Have you had any covid jabs?

Yes I've had a few COVID tests.. before, during and after I had COVID.

TB, I only just read your post. How did you pull up? Its a few months down the track now.

I hope you got better OK.

I am still amazed at the anti vax crew and the lack of recognition that this is a very serious disease.

I’m glad you pulled through alright and thank you for sharing your experience. My condolences on the pain you suffered during. My two year old tested positive two weeks ago and our quarantine finally ends tmrw. It’s been hell, but not because she was sickly. She only showed symptoms for the first 24 hours and afterwards was fit as a fiddle, running around like a typical toddler….for the past two weeks….stuck inside🥲
Our doctor that called us told us since she wasn’t showing symptoms anymore and none of the other three in the house got it (we are all vaccinated) and tested negative, than we do not have to retest. Apparently virus particles can stay in your system for up to 90 days, but you are only contagious for the first two weeks.

my brother has covid. he says "it feels synthetic"
his head is tingling,but in a painful way. which hes never experienced before, with anything hes ever had. as far as viruses go. he also said it dorsnt feel like any sickness hes ever had before. and hes not one for getting sick really. barely ever gets a cold!
