Mythbusters should have done an episode on the Jonah and the Whale story. With this footage they may have come to the conclusion it was plausible. I mean if you're inside a whale's stomach and it's the size of a large room and full of air, since whales breathe air, you could theoretically live inside a whale on a boat and eat fish and whatever else the whale eats, essentially turning yourself into a parasite of the whale.
