They don't sleep they wait.
When you put one on a chessboard, it gets these black and white squares on his skin too.
I find it astonishing how it also can change even the shape of its skin to mimic corals and sea ground in general.
Like in the video.
If they had a longer lifespan, they maybe had already their own civilization. In a kind.
