I was going to post and say “ill go first” but it seems like you’ve preempted me.

My favorite one is Diogenes..He was the ultimate anti-establishment philosopher. He rejected materialism, and gave zero fucks about societal norms. He questioned societal values and conventions, promoting a lifestyle that prioritized virtue over materialism.

He also criticized, corrected and refuted many of the God heads of philosophy like Plato. He was literally unmatchable, so unique and different than any other philosopher whose ever walked the face of earth.

Your mom.
Better than being a prostitute, eh littlesilly? 😉

As someone who studies philosophy, who is drawn to it and repelled by it equally, and who detests pure intellectualism, I can say without a sliver of doubt in my mind that the vast majority of prostitutes are far more respectable than the vast majority of philosophers.

Clearly you haven't read Simone de Beauvoir. She might have some insightful things to say about your limited worldview. 😜
Ah, Simone de Beauvoir—how original. Let me guess, quoting her was your attempt at ‘depth’? Maybe try forming your own ideas before lecturing others about their worldview 😁

Spinoza is my favorite. Not an atheist but a pantheist, the Jewish community excommunicated him for heretical beliefs
I love Baruch Spinoza, have him on my profile picture 😍

I don't see a quote from Simone on my reply, though?

Philosophers spend so much time searching for truth, they sometimes forget to find purpose. At least others know exactly what service they’re providing. One group charges by the hour to bring you satisfaction, while the other charges your patience with endless existential questions. I know which I’d rather pay for 😁

I get that you didn’t quote Simone directly, but referencing her still feels like you’re leaning on someone else’s ideas to challenge my perspective. It’s like you’re using her as a shortcut to imply I have a ‘limited worldview’ without really engaging with my actual points.

Ah, you prefer the prostitutes too. Excellent! Good on you.👍

Philosophy literally is “love for wisdom”, it is not the wisdom itself, let alone reality or truth. Check out René Guenon and you may realize that philosophy is bullshit: it is always some individual's personal view, understanding and interpretation of an idea or aspect of reality, existence, etc. I am not saying there is no truth in some philosophical conceptions, but why listen to someone’s opinion when the truth has been out there for centuries?

You're a bit of dick, aren't you? With a finite number of noted philosophers to choose from, you criticize someone for referencing one of the few? And you do so with a distinct air of derisive pomposity, as if the ideas of the philosophers you enjoy are the fruits of your own mind? What kind of pretentious twat are you? How old are you? I'd reckon late teens to mid-20s. If you're any older than that, then your behavior is embarrassingly childish; if you're within the age range I've indicated, then your intellectual insecurities are shining brightly through your text. Whatever the case, you need to check yourself if you really want to acquire any wisdom of your own in your life, because the wisdom of others is not conducive to transference by reading; it must be hard won by the individual himself through his own trials, his own successes, and especially, his own failures; and humility is a key component of that process.
