This show came on in the early 1990's on ABC.
Loosely based on the Russle Street Police Bombing.
I found it a good show then and it holds up well. The ABC, Australia's most woke organisation, uber pro trans and pronouns produced this. The language used in it is standard early '90's. Lots of 'poof' references and, Good Good Almighty, a reference to a trany as being a 'male' who dresses up like a woman!
Culture has changed a lot since then.

Good example of early 90's Melbourne. The scene of the bombing is the Camberwell Civic Centre. I grew up about 200 meters from there. Someone once put blue dye and bubble bath into the fountain. Hilarous...
Acents are standard '90's, bit of ethnic Aussie wog there too. No black people in this show at all. No Abos, not Africans, no Indians, no Muslims. This was pre that time. We did have plenty of Vietnamese but they don't feature either. No poofs and only one tranny and the tranny gets beaten up by the cop.

Russel Street bombing was a car bomb right outside Russel St police HQ. Killed one police woman. I knew a fireman who was quick on the scene and he said that the place was littered with sticks of gelignite that had not been fused properly. Mayhem.
