They probably didn't saw all the way through, or maybe the hinge got jammed on itself. Change the angle and make 2 cuts per hinge, that'll work better. But it'll be slower and make more dust. Battering ram costs less and is effective as long as you're not a pussy, so long as the door's made of wood.
