Ok guys. I just want to let you know, I see the points you guys make. NATO has been stepping on toes for awhile now, we all know it. I'm not here to try to insult anyone. I'm a retired U.S. Army E-8. I've done 6 combat deployments as a combat engineer. 4 in Iraq, and 2 in Afghanistan. I don't hate any soldier that fight for his country, I'm just tired so tired of war, and the way you guys are fighting this war is fucking brutal on both sides. Those drones are fucking scary as fuck guys, I mean what the fuck?! This shit needs to stop.
With the question. What is your guy's endgame? Like I said, I understand why you invaded, but what are you going to do after you guys take Ukraine? I mean, you guys will most likely be fighting some form of an insurgency for years afterwards, and I would be worried more about Poland, than America.

NATO has broken a lot of deals made with Russia when the USSR fell. NATO was supposed to stay put, but continued to go into countries they agreed not too.

But the thing is the Russians haven’t said they wanted Ukraine, they said that Ukraine should stop attacking the Russian citizens in the east of the country, as they have been since 2012, Nato encroaching on russias boarders was just another reason to add to the list, bearing in mind that the closest we’ve been to a nuclear holocaust was when Russia tried to put nukes in Cuba and the yanks didn’t like that

I gotta say, you people from the Baltics, despite being insignificant with a population of just over 6 million between the 3 countries, you have been the main instigators of this war in Europe.

1. In the second world war you chose the wrong horse and as you were part of the axis powers, involved in countless war crimes beyond your borders with the einsatzgruppen in Belarus (just an example), when Russia invaded you they showed you no mercy.

I'm perplexed how you guys didn't disappear from the map. And of course your past leaves traumas, however it does not justify the racism that still exists among you towards the ethnic Russians who have lived in your country for generations.

Your politicians are shit: Kaja Kallas for example, she wants to erase your past with Russia, destroy monuments, ban the Russian language, she has been the main supporter of a direct war between Russia and NATO, wants to deport russian immigrants and russian descendents...smells too much SIEG HEIL of the 21st century to me 👀 ...however her hubby continues to do business with Russia, quite shocking.

And Russia and nato had a agreement that nato would leave a buffer between them but have been encroaching yearly, with Ukraine being the last border country that hasn’t joined NATO, until Zelensky applied to join NATO,
So when Zelensky applied, and refused to stop attacking the Russians in the east of Ukraine, Russian went in to take the east, starting with the Crimea (who voted to rejoin russia, but Ukraine refused to accept it) and then onto domask region,

They "annexed" Crimea for 2 reasons:

1. Crimea is historically russian not ukrainian, where the majority of the population is ethnic russian. Crimea was given to Ukraine in the 1950s to reinforce the friendship between the two brother countries.

2. They would never let their largest Black Sea naval base in Sevastopol fall into the hands of NATO. In fact russians didn't invade the peninsula since they were already there with troops... They only closed the border.

It's true what you say and nobody is talking about it: even IF Ukraine loses ( and that is a big if ) ...the whole fricking country will start fighting an underground guerrilla war/ insurgent campaign against it's Russian occupiers. It might take 2 more years to put down THAT "rebellion". I don't think that the average pro-Russian fan out there on the sidelines has realized that this scenario is likely to happen if Russia "wins".

I'm in Australia and work with an American. That's pretty much how he explains it as well. He actually blames America for entertaining the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO.

Simple, they were part of the USSR and at that time NATO agreed not to encroach on Russias borders, yet they have been since the agreement in like the 50’s, Russia pulled their nukes from Cuba when the Americans didn’t like them encroaching, yet a association where America pays in like 95% of the money should be allowed to build bases on the border of Russia?
