I'd say that the perfect modern society (certainly in the Western world) would be a Centre-based society, with varying amounts of left-wing (social focused goals) and right wing (capitalist/personal focus) ideals. Being extreme in either of the sociopolitical axis is never a good thing, as shown by the Soviet failed attempt at communism, China's failing attempt at Authoritarianism, and Nazi Germany's right wing National Patriotism and Ethnic-Streaming. We're all better off working together towards a shared goal than we are divided, by racial concerns, religious fears, and nationalistic imperatives. (And unfortunately for Americans - you are truly divided as a nation. United in States, but divided by ideology).

And if you think Donald Trump has the answers, you're not asking the right questions.
