According to police, Dayton James Webber, a 27-year-old quadruple-amputee cornhole player, drove away from the scene of a fatal shooting in La Plata, Maryland with the victim, Bradrick Michael Wells, still in the car.

The Incident: After a shooting during an argument on March 22, 2026, Webber reportedly pulled over and asked two back-seat passengers to help remove the victim from the vehicle.
Driving Away: When the witnesses refused and left the car to contact police, Webber drove off with the body.
Aftermath: The victim's body was found about two hours later in a yard in Charlotte Hall, Maryland.
Arrest: Webber was later located and arrested at a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.
He is facing charges including first-degree murder, according to WFIE | 14 News
