As long as physical money exists I think its in the best interest of a business to take cash. But, its not a government building, which I think is the only place where you can make a valid argument that they MUST accept legal tender. A business can decide to take or not take any type of tender it wants. Most businesses stopped accepting paper checks years ago. A business can decide to stop accepting physical money in the same way.

My grandpa use to catch fish and then go to the grocery store and trade them for groceries. The even funnier part is he would sometimes go to the store before catching the fish, get the groceries on credit, and then drop off the fish some other time as payment. No money, and never any paperwork involved, just a nod or a wave to the staff.

I don't see anything illegal there, he pay full amount in money so what they can do ? call police and say he steal it ???? Fucking stupid useless fat piece of shit......
