Death comes to us in mysterious ways. The trick is to not let the deaths and loss you encounter in this life make you callous. Keep the good memories. Life goes by fast soon enough you’ll be taking the final journey.

Losing a pet is a loss of a spark that gives life even to the air of a home. The new vacancy hits hard, even on the skin and the breath.

I'm sorry for the toll that grief is taking on you and hope you find comfort in knowing that Sylvester had a life of love and care by you and your Grandmother. You gave that little life an honorable and loving release from suffering.

Two days ago, my sweet boy Sylvester passed away in my arms and I am devastated. He was the last piece I had left of my grandmother, and the first cat I ever had. I feel so overwhelmingly bereft that he is gone, but now he and my grandmother are together and he isn’t hurting anymore. Rest in peace, sweet baby boy 💔

I hear you! I have had several cats in my life who at some point had to be put-down. They were all precious to me, and I still remember their names. Sylvester is beautiful, they give so much, and ask for so little. (No offense to dogs who I also love).

It's like losing a child,or a family member. I still get depressed thinking about my Clowey girl, and that back in 2018.
Animals are wonderful gifts from heaven,you'll see him again. Think of all the good memories that will live on forever in your heart. Sorry for your loss,i know how it feels hun.🙏
