Grew up around a couple people with epilepsy, my mother being one. She has grand mal seizures and it’s actually pretty scary when it’s happening right in front of you. The gargle some of them let out sounds like a death rattle and will send shivers down your spine

That's fuckin rough, lad. Something about seizures proper disturbs me, big time. Had a cousin have one suddenly right outside me driveway after a family get-together, was fuckin' scary, that. I know there's nothin' you're really supposed to do except make sure they don't bang their head, and you just have to let it happen, but fuckin' hell. Horrible to watch, innit. Hope your mum's doing alright.
