Back story:

"Ga. man blows off his leg in shooting stunt gone wrong

March 30, 2016 | 12:48 PM CET
32-year-old David Pressley lost his leg shooting a semiautomatic rifle at a lawn mower he packed with explosives. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office released video of the explosion as a warning about the use of explosives."
and knowing law enforcement, they probably charged this guy with possession of unlawful explosives or sumshit like that. anything to add insult to injury. because thats how the law operates.

Possession of Tannerite is not illegal in a number of USA states including Georgia, where the incident took place:

"Yes, Tannerite (a brand of binary exploding rifle targets) is generally legal to possess and use in Georgia. Because it is sold as two separate components (a fuel and an oxidizer) that are not explosive until mixed, it is not regulated as a dangerous explosive by the ATF or Georgia state law when used for personal, non-commercial target practice. "

So he will be spared at least that insult...
