I was pillion on a Harley years ago that went through a green light, a drink-driver sped through the red light. My friend who was riding fractured his r/wrist, broke his lower back and compound fracture r/tibia, fucking bone sticking out I remember. I was thrown way up in the air and landed on the sidewalk about 20 feet from the bike. I woke up with a guy leaning over me offering me a cold beer, no shit,. he just stepped out of a pub after the accident. I said yes lol. Ambulance turned up and my friend went to hospital (4 months in hospital with complications) and I went to the pub across the road lol, I was 21yrs old. I'm an old cunt now with a hip that sometimes clicks today, otherwise I'm in great shape. I think what saved my arse was going to the gym, I was well built and didn't break a single bone wtf. My friend has been on a disability pension since, more than 40 yrs ago.
