In the Irkutsk region, a reckless driver fleeing police struck a woman at a crosswalk, severing part of her leg.
The driver, who was trying to escape a patrol car, sped onto the pedestrian crossing and hit the 51-year-old woman. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors had to amputate part of her leg.
