After watching it several times it looks like the molten metal flared up when it made contact with the outer surface of the bucket and then flared up even more when it poured on to the metal deck and the beams. That usually happens when moisture or some other type of material is rapidly vaporized and blasts its way through the molten metal, exploding and splattering it.
